The Thon Met Peace Africa Foundation was born out of a deep desire to restore hope and dignity in communities impacted by conflict, poverty, and displacement across Africa. Founded by Thon Met, a South Sudanese youth advocate and changemaker, the foundation was established to serve as a bridge between opportunity and the underserved.
Having experienced the hardships of displacement firsthand, Thon envisioned a future where young people are not defined by their past but empowered by education, peace, and possibility. What began as a personal journey has now grown into a community-driven movement dedicated to transforming lives.
Through our core programs education, healthcare access, clean water, agriculture, and refugee support we are building sustainable pathways for growth and peace. From helping children return to school, to installing wells in remote villages, every initiative is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and long-term impact.
We believe that with the right support, young people can become powerful agents of change. That belief continues to guide our work every day.
