The nearest water source for our villagers is a 2 hours walk from the village. With the generous donations of our supporters, we have purchase some bicycles that the villagers use to access the water more quickly, but still at great expense of time and energy. When they reach the water source, the water may not be available or may not be clean. So much depends on clean, accessible water: health, agriculture, and more. We aim to raise the $30 - $50,000 needed to build a clean water well in Thon Met Village. This would support our villagers transition to self-sufficiency and health.
